Lufthansa resumes A380 service to New York JFK

Lufthansa has resumed A380 service to New York JFK.

The German carrier touched down with the jumbo jet at JFK on July 4 for the first time since November 2019. At that time, Lufthansa deployed the world’s largest passenger aircraft on flights to New York from Frankfurt. Now, it is flying the A380 to JFK from its Munich hub.

The move follows Lufthansa’s deployment of an A380 on flights between Munich and Boston on June 1.
