CCRF to host 10th national boat race next month

The Cambodia canoe and rowing federation (CCRF) will host the 10th national boat race in Battambang next month.

The CCRF announced that it will host the traditional boat, canoe and rowing competition known as ‘Sam Dach Krola Hom Sar Kheng Championship’. The organising committee is planning to host the event on Battambang’s Sangkae River with the tournament running from August 10 to 12.

The competition will feature different kinds of boat races including a traditional boat race which is divided into the 800 metres, 500m, and 250m categories.

The light boat race features the 500m and 250m events.

The tournament also features kayak, canoe, and rowing races which are the 500m C1, 500m K1, and 1000m X1 formats.
