The MoU will improve the promotion of Khmer cultural arts through art events, exhibitions, paintings, and workshops to share experiences, and the rise of the development of arts and culture to suit the context of industry, tourism, culture, and innovation.
The MoU is aimed at furthering closer cooperation between public and private partners.
The memorandum was signed by Ministry of Culture Secretary of State Pen Mony Makara and Chairman of the Cambodia-China Culture and Tourism Industry Promotion Association Deng Pibing at the Ministry of Culture on Wednesday.
“The MoU will add new impetus to Cambodia’s cultural and tourism industry. In the future, the Cambodia-China Cultural and Tourism Industry Promotion Association will provide a model of diversified development and professional support for the Cambodian cultural tourism industry through cultural and artistic performances, business forums and cultural exchange activities.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, the memorandum of cooperation will be a new starting point for cooperation in the cultural and tourism industries of the two countries, providing new guidelines for bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the cultural and tourism industries of Cambodia and China.
At the same time, it will bring many experiences and options for mutual visits of Cambodian-Chinese tourists.
