Day 01 Arrival – Siem Reap – Foodie Tours

Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, meets and transfers to hotel

In the evening, we will walk along Siem Reap famous quarter of Pub Streets and enjoy the food tours and drinks (own expenses) before we take tuk tuk back to hotel for the night

Day 02 Siem Reap – Angkor Wat

Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Angkor Thom
Visit to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, and the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat.

The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Day 03 Full Day Hiking In Kulen Mountains + Banteay Srey Temple

Kulen Mountain has become safe starting from 1999 after the Khmer Rouge had mobilized all he forces with the government. It is considered a holly place for local people as we believe in lingas and spirit and stones.

Siem Reap Hiking Tours Itinerary: (Walking 12km)
07h00am: Meet with your guide. Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Kulen Mountain which takes 50 minutes. On arrival, get water in the cool box. Begin walking up the hill. The first 2km is uphill and rocky. Trek up to mountain slope, visit the natural water spring from the Buddha foot and enjoy the panoramic view, trek through the thick forest… Enjoy the magnificent waterfall of Kulen Mountain, visit the the the hindu carving of Kulen’s riverbed , where most Khmer people believe in the sacred mountain.

Visit the River of Thousand Lingas lying under the river bed, people believe it brings fertility and blessing Angkor area as the river flows from Kulen to Siem Reap. Walk 700meters to visit the Grand Reclining Buddha. Kulen mountain remains the sacred place local people believes. From the Grand Reclining Buddha, walk another 500 meters to the water fall, where we enjoy swimming the 30 meters high water fall.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant
Enjoy swimming in this famous waterfall and transfer back to hotel in the late afternoon, with a stop for visit to Banteay Srey Temple.

Day 04 Full Day Beng Mealea + Koh Ker

Our guide and driver will be meeting you at 8.00am at your hotel’s lobby then drive out of the hassle Siem Reap city toward Beng Mealea temple which was built in 12th century during Angkor Wat time, locates about 65km. The journey provides nice views of rice paddies, countryside dotting with palm trees and we stop to observe how traditional bamboo sticky rice is made, and try some bites of its delicious taste. We stroll around Dom Dek market to witness daily life of people selling their vegetables, meat and exchange the trades before heading to have the guided walking orientation within the wilderness to unlock the hidden jungle temple whose the ruined rocks spread around, enhanced by the vegetation and the tranquility. Walk, crawl, climb and squeeze into/over galleries to see its amazing setting, reveal the history, take picturesque photos and feel the natural surroundings.

Koh Ker
Afternoon, continue to an archaeological site of Pre-Angkorian temple – the very less touristy temple that Koh Ker has attracted more and more tourists to discover its ruins among the wilderness. Koh Ker temple was probably served as state temple of Khmer King Jayavarman IV, vertically arises in Pyramid shape with 7 tiers enhanced by impressive shrines. Learn from your tour guide about the significant city of Khmer Empire and take some picturesque photos. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 05 Siem Reap – Mondulkiri

We depart from Siem Reap by private bus and guide, taking a long way to MONDULKIRI Province.

This trip will bring you through Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, a part of Kratie provinces.

Day 06 Full Day Jungles – Waterfalls Hiking

Leng Kun Waterfall
09:00 – 11:30 hrs : Morning hike through the jungle – Leng Kun Waterfall
We will begin the day trek : Once we cross the O’tey river, our Bunong indigenous guide will lead us through Mondulkiri’s incredible forest, rich with flora and fauna. We will make our way through the impressive Leng Kun waterfall, which is over 30 meters high.
11:30 – 13:00 hrs : Lunch and Swimming break
We will have a picnic lunch by Leng Ong waterfall, followed by swimming in its natural base pool
13:00 – 16:40 hrs : Afternoon Trek to Leng ret Waterfall – bat cave visit – indigenous jungle farms
After lunch, we continue hiking to Leng Ret Waterfall and Cave.
During this afternoon hike, we will pass by many indigenous jungle farms. Here we can see traditional Bunong agricultural system and local crops such as : cassanova, chilli peppers, lemon grass, wild rice, pineapples, and cashews. Now we will get our feet wet and cross the river before our final climb out of the forest, before reaching Putang Village where we will visit a typical indigenous village with traditional Bunong Homes and village life.
Even today, the Bunong leads an independent life style, separate from the Khmer society, mostly self-governed, by the village elders.
From here, we will be picked up by car and driven to Sen Monorom City and hotel.

Day 07 Mondulkiri – Phnom Penh

Travel to Phnom Penh city via part of Kratie, Tbong Khmum, Kampong Cham, and Kandal provinces.

Day 08 Phnom Penh – City Tours

Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Then continue your visit at visit to the National Museum, This is one of Phnom Penh’s true architectural gems. The Museum is instantly recognizable with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully cured roof topped by dozens of guardian nagas. It was designed in Khmer style in 1917 by famed French architect Georges Groslier & Ecole Des Arts Cambodgiens.

Royal Palace
Visiting the notorious Killing Fields “Choeung Ek” 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of who first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979). Continue your visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

Day 09 Phnom Penh – Kirirum National Parks

After breakfast, we will drive up to Kirirum National Park
The park extends over the eastern part of the Cardamom Mountains. It is located 112 km from Phnom Penh off National Highway 4 on the road to Sihanoukville. Lying at 675m (2,215 ft) above sea level, Kirirom was Cambodia’s first officially designated national park. It contains many footpaths through the forests with a number of small lakes and waterfalls and was once used as a refuge by the Khmer Rouge. The way up will allow you to witness the Modern Pagoda, the great Cambodian Pine Trees, the smooth lawn of green grass, and the cool fresh air from the forest.

Kirirum National Park
In the afternoon, we will take a walking tour around the resort and forests to see some interesting, flowers and lake, and waterfall. Dinner will be served at restaurant resort and night there.

Day 10 Kirirum Hiking – Sihanoukville

Drive up to see an Old pagoda via old trails and the best view of pine trees. Walk along this small temple. Talking to residence there and drive on the great water reserved. Drop off the vans and start hiking up the small mountains about 3.50 kms. You will enjoy the best view of the lake seeing behind the pine trees which make you feel this was in other part of European world.

This part of the trip will take you through the small flora, wooden bridge across the stream, forests, bushes, and the big straight trees, before you make to the OLD KING PALACE on the top. Let’s take a short break to enjoy cold water and best views of the lake and forests down below before travelling to Sihanoukville. Check in at hotel

Day 11 Sihanoukville – Koh Rong Island

Pick up and transfer to Sihanoukville ferry for your regular boat trip to Koh Rong Island
