Beginning Aug. 1, the APSARA National Authority will launch new tour circuits at the Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei Temples of the Angkor Archaeological Park. The authority notified concerned authorities, tour companies, national and international tourists, and the general public about the plan in an announcement released on Thursday. The new circuits aim to increase quality visits and showcase the detailed features of the temples’ stunning architecture.
The circuits at each of the two temples offer a variety of options, ranging from one to three hours, to fit guests’ available time. There are also options that serve different purposes, such as leisure, belief and religious experience, and historical knowledge. To promote demand-driven service, the APSARA National Authority will launch the circuits as a pilot with visitor tracking and feedback collection. By Lim Nary
