Over 650,000 Tourists Visit Siem Reap Province On 2nd Day Of Khmer New Year

Siem Reap province received a total of 653,670 tourists on the second day of Khmer New Year holiday, according to the Provincial Tourism Department’s report.

Of the registered number, the same source said, 3,679 were foreign visitors.

Angkor Sankranta event being organised in the complex of Angkor Archeological Park, attracted most of the tourists or some 550,000, the report pointed out.

The rest visited Phnom Koulen National Park, Tonle Sap zone, and community-based tourism sites and other tourist attractions, it added.

For the first two days of the New Year celebrations, Siem Reap cultural province registered in total 1,090,349 visitors, including 10,349 foreigners.
