This tour allows you to explore and learn about Siem Reap and all the gems within the area. It is a transport and guide service only and include accommodation or meals.
Day 1: Siem Reap arrival, Tonle Sap Lake & Floating Village
Arrive at Siem Reap International airport where you will be met by your tour guide. After lunch you will visit Tonle Sap Lake for a chance to see the floating village, on our way back, we’ll visit the Artisan’s D’ Angkor where you will see the innate talent of Khmer in wood and stone carving.
Day 2: Angkor Wat Temple Tour
See sunrise at the Angkor Wat temple early around 4.30am. Next visit Thom City, Bayon and Phimeanakas temples, Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King and then move to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees.
Day 3: Kulen National Park Waterfall & 1000 Shiva Lingas
Morning drive to visit the Phnom Kulen National Park. The drive is an experience in itself as we wind our way up the rocky road to the top of the mountain, with its highest point being 487 meters.
Phnom Kulen is widely regarded as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. During the constructional period of the ancient temples, sand stones were brought from this sacred mountain to Angkor. Kulen is considered by Khmers to be the most sacred mountain in Cambodia.
We have the opportunity to visit the River of 1000 Lingas, which is thousands symbols carved along a riverbed which is divided into three ports for the Hindu trinity gods.
We then continue to the waterfalls of Kulen, there are two beautiful spots you are able to swim in before your enjoy your own lunch, relaxing in hammocks as you take in this holy and natural wonder of Cambodia. Afternoon if we have enough time, we will drive down for visiting to Banteay Srei temple, known as the Women’s Citadel this monument is located 32kms from Siem Reap town. Often referred to as the precious gem Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone and filled with elaborate decorative wall carvings. The buildings are actually smaller in scale and which makes it intriguing to explore. Have dinner and then back to hotel.
Day 4: Siem Reap Old Market, Silk Processing, Local Handicrafts & Shopping, Departure
Explore Local Phsar Leu Market, Old Market, and d’Angkor Artisan School, a famous for traditional handicrafts such as lacquer ware, silk products, stone carving, wood carving, gilding, and silk processing etc. Do some shopping and transfer to the airport.
