You will see the must-see attractions in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, including the National Museum, the Royal Palace, Angkor Wat, etc., with your knowledgeable guide and comfortable car. Enjoy two free days in Sihanoukville as well, which is renowned for its stunning beaches.
Day 1: Phnom Penh Airport Pick-up
Highlights:
You will be met by your tour guide and driver in the arrivals area of the Phnom Penh airport and driven to your hotel so you can check in. If time allows, you will be taken to see Wat Phnom, a city landmark and the highest point from which you may take in a panoramic view.
Day 2: Phnom Penh & drive to Sihanoukville
Your tour guide will pick you up after breakfast and drive you to the Royal Palace, which is well-known for housing the nation’s most valuable treasures. You will next continue on to the National Museum, which houses a vast collection of relics illuminating the rise of the Angkor Kingdom.
After lunch, your guide will drive you to Sihanoukville, a stunning town known for its white beaches and breathtaking scenery. You will be met at the airport and driven to the hotel.
Day 3: Sihanoukville Free Day
We have given you today free time to explore Sihanoukville at your own leisurely pace. Activities at the beach and breathtaking coastline views are available.
Day 4: drive to Siem Reap & Tonle Sap Lake Cruise
You’ll go to Siem Reap in six hours starting in the morning. You will be met at the airport and driven to your accommodation after meeting your local guide. You will be led to Tonle Sap Lake for a leisurely cruise after a little break, which will also take you to the Floating Villages. You can take in the breathtaking sunset over the lake before you head home.
Another spectacular sight at Angkor Wat is the sunrise. Your guide will set the time for the meeting for tomorrow morning if you let them know you need something.
Day 5: Siem Reap Highlights with Angkor Wat
With your guide, you will experience the Khmer heritage today. Angkor Wat is the first stop. You will encounter the enigmatic “The Smile of Khmer” in the Bayon Temple if you enter Angkor Thom from the South Gate. Following that, you will see the Phimeanaksa, Terrace of the Elephants, and Terrace of the Leper King before departing the North Gate of Angkor Thom. You will eventually reach Preah Khan and Banteay Srei Temple.
You will continue to Angkor Wat, the most well-preserved of Angkor’s monuments, after lunch. Your tour guide will fill you in on the intriguing mythology and history around it.
You will be taken back to your hotel by an escort after the visits are complete.
Day 6: Siem Reap Airport See-off
After breakfast, your tour guide will take you to Siem Reap International Airport on time for your departure. Bon voyage!
