Phnom Penh: On December 22, 2014 morning, H.E Datuk Oknha Othsman Hassan Minister attached to the Prime Minister and the Secretary of state, Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and President of Cambodian Muslim Development foundation received and warmly greeting to the courtesy calls by Tun Zaki Bin Tun Azmi former Malaysian President of the Supreme Court, and former of legal council in UMNO party accompanied with his colleague Tan Sri Subban Jasmon, Secretary General in the Ministry of Defenses, Malaysia, Haji Abdul Hanif Bin Harun and wife representative of PERKIM which is currently under chairperson of Mahathir Mohamad, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Welcoming to the former President of the Supreme Court, H.E Datuk Oknha Othsman Hassan expressed appreciation to the Government of Malaysia and the country generous donors especially PERKIM always concerning and contributing various welfare throughout Cambodian Muslim community. This is the best poverty reduction in line with the policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which is set out strategies to eliminate the poverty gradually through Cambodian society.
In response, Tun Zaki Bin Tun Azmi has expressed appreciation to the Government of Cambodia under the leading of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, who leading the positive progress in all sectors, by earlier this last 30 years Cambodia suffered by the civil war that was spread out this info all over the world, but the war region of this territory has been fully changed to become safety and development zone every sectors.
Included with the great meeting, the Malaysian delegation also extended to talks on assessment of mosque construction projects at Ou Ambil village and Ou Thom Village additional with 2 schools in Santhuk District which in plan of more than 115,000 USD. The meeting also reached to agree with the donation of 2 floors mosque and a school which plan to spend around 144.000 USD.
Since 2007 to presently, with a strong relation between Tun Zaki former Malaysian President of the Supreme Court and generous donors PERKIM in cooperation with the Highest Council For Islamic Religious Affair Cambodia and the Cambodian Muslim Development Foundation, the Cambodian Muslim community has received donation nearly 3 million USD for various humanitarian assistance project such as:

To offer the scholarship for local students to study in various university in Malaysia. In continuing and strengthening humanitarian assistant project , such as building a mosque Ramadhan Iftar sponsorship, allowance for Islamic teachers ,orphanage and elderly, donation of Qurban and Aqiqah, relief the natural disasters such as floods, storms, fires and so on.
