Oman increasing in appeal for UK agents

Travel agents based in the United Kingdom have noted that they had seen an increase in sales to the Sultanate of Oman this year compared to that of 2013.

The research conducted by Aviareps found that while Dubai and Abu Dhabi remained popular destinations for travellers from the UK, there was a need for a greater variety within the region.

Odyssey World travel specialist Kate Tyler noted that Oman had become a great selling destination for the company.

Her thoughts were echoed by Gane and Marshall director Jeremy Gane who had recorded an increase in Oman sales on last year. However, he added that there was a need for further support to market travel to FITs and school groups.
