BRUNEI marked the end of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 68th birthday celebrations with the lowering of the giant national flag in the capital yesterday.
Gracing the ceremony as the guest of honour and receiving the flag from the Royal Brunei Navy was Senior Assistant to Chief of State Adat Istiadat Yang Amat Mulia Pg Seri Wijaya Pg Hj Ahmad Pg Mohd Yusof.
The national flag was hoisted throughout the month, beginning from August 1.
Other flag lowering ceremonies were also held in the districts of Belait, Tutong and Temburong.
