Vietnam Airlines and Jet Airways have announced a reciprocal codeshare agreement, offering passengers enhanced connectivity and seamless access when travelling throughout the combined networks of both airlines.
Under the codeshare arrangement, Jet Airways will place its marketing code on Vietnam Airlines’ flights from Bangkok and Singapore to Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. In turn, Vietnam Airlines will place its marketing code on Jet Airways’ services from Bangkok to Mumbai and Delhi; and from Singapore to Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. Commencing on 4 August 2014, the codeshare flights will provide more choice for passengers travelling between India and Vietnam, with convenient connections via the international gateways of Singapore and Bangkok.

We shall make all possible effort to maximize the opportunities offered to our combined network in order to bring the most convenience to our valued customers who travel from India to Vietnam via Bangkok/Singapore and vice versa”, said Mr Duong Tri Thanh, Vice President, Vietnam Airlines.

We are delighted to announce a codeshare partnership with Vietnam Airlines as it will further strengthen the global network of both airlines and provide increased benefits to all our guests. With the seamless connections offered by this arrangement, we are confident that this codeshare will see a further increase in demand for business and tourist travel between India and Vietnam.”
To further improve connections between the two countries for their common customers, Vietnam Airlines will also put its code on Jet Airways’ service to Vietnam as from 5 November 2014.
